About Me

Hi, I’m Courtney Lozano, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Fordham University with my MSW and have 15+ years of experience working in the healthcare field. A majority of my professional career has been dedicated to providing emotional support to individuals managing illness, loss, and life transitions. Working in Oncology, I’ve offered support to those impacted by cancer while helping families cope with the complexities of caregiving. I was proud to develop a health & wellness program for cancer survivors which was featured on The Steve Adubato Show and was grateful to be nominated for the NJ BIZ 40 under 40 award.

I’ve been deeply inspired by the strength and courage of those affected by cancer.  Working in a hospital setting, I’ve been equally inspired by the interdisciplinary care team who help patients as they navigate life’s toughest battles and darkest moments.   I’ve witnessed firsthand the physical and emotional toll that work-related stress can take on those working in healthcare.  After developing a workplace wellness initiative that was well received by employees, I recognized a gap that needed to be filled.  This inspired me to dedicate my work to supporting my fellow professionals.

There are days we give so much of ourselves to those we serve, how can we decompress, replenish, and mentally nourish ourselves after an emotionally demanding day? We exercise to keep our body healthy, but how do we keep our mind healthy?

Our emotional health matters.

As a mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend, and a colleague, I understand what it’s like to juggle many roles at once.   We all have busy lives, but in this line of work, cultivating a work-life balance is crucial.   Through professional development workshops and 1:1 customized support, I work with those engaging in emotionally demanding environments to enhance well-being in a way that creates a valuable, supportive experience.

Let’s work together.
